users will directly benefit if our service is used
in ways which will build overall system effectiveness,
maximize accessibility to the system, minimize unnecessary
network traffic and provide a non-threatening environment
for all users.
To that end Izzy Dot Net, Inc. expects that all
of its users will adhere to the following Acceptable
Use Conditions.
Acceptable
Use:
- Use
for purposes of, or in support of, education,
research, recreation or economic development.
Acceptable
Commercial Use:
- Distribution
of solicited materials When requested by an Internet
user on the Internet product information and other
commercial messages are permitted to be transmitted.Discussion
of a product's relative advantages and disadvantages
by users of the product, and vendors' responses
to those w ho pose questions about their products,
may be made available over the Izzy network.
- Communications
with your business partners
- Communications
with your customers and staff
Unacceptable
Use:
- Use
which violates federal, state or local laws
- The
Izzy network shall not be used to transmit any
communication where the message would violate
any applicable law or regulation or would likely
be highly offensive to the recipient.
- Transmittal
of mass E-mailings or Usenet postings
- Disruption
of network traffic or Izzy services
- Users
of Izzy network services shall not disrupt any
part of the Internet as a whole or any equipment
or system forming part the Izzy system, or any
services provided by it.
- Distribution
of unsolicited materials.
- Marketing
or advertising material may not be "broadcast"
or otherwise sent on an intrusive basis to any
user of the network or any directly or indirectly
attached network.
- Unauthorized
access to systems, software or data or to another
user's account.
- Activities
that interfere with the ability of others to use
Izzy services or facilities effectively.
- Use
that does not meet the primary goals of Izzy Dot
Net, Inc.
Conditions:
- Traffic
exiting Izzy computers into the Internet must
comply with all rules and acceptable use policies
of the networks on which it travels.
- Use
of Izzy Dot Net, Inc. Internet services implies
agreement with the rules stated in this Acceptable
Use Policy.
- Violations
of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in termination
of your Izzy account with no refund of fees paid
to date.
- Interpretation,
application, and possible modification of this
Acceptable Use Policy shall be within the sole
discretion of Izzy Dot Net, Inc.
